ただ動けばいいわけではありません。そのモティーフはだれもに身近で、動くものであってほしいと思いました。そこで思いついたのがお月様です。お月様はいろんな柄や形に見える、みんながよく知っているもの。絶好のモティーフだと思いました。
It’s not enough for it to simply move.I wanted the motif to be something familiar to everyone—something that naturally moves.
That’s when I thought of the moon.The moon, with its ever-changing shapes and patterns, is something everyone knows.It felt like the perfect motif.
本を読まなくても、芝生の上でぼーとしている時、ふと目に入る、そんな本棚になってほしいと思いました。風や子どもたちに合わせて揺れる、つい見てしまう本棚です。
Even without reading, I wanted it to be a bookshelf that gently catches your eye while you’re just lying on the grass, lost in thought.
A bookshelf that sways with the wind and with children—something you can’t help but look at.
